I was going through my old wallet contents When I found and old rate card for my studio. Each of use carried the card so we knew exactly what discounts and perks were when talking about packages. The taxes were included in the package price, Perks were back line, Drum Kits, and Mastering discounts. It was nice to pull this card out and share it with prospective clients. Good old sales tricks.
After a few weekend hours Dave and I finished the EDAC first rounds of EDAC to TT patch bays!
Four patch bays are needed for this project. They started as standard Horizontally aligned EDAC connectors but with 4 stacked on top of one another and a cable standard of downward hanging EDAC connectors the back needed to change. With this staggered setup, the cables will hang in line with no interference.
All of the EDACs were wire wound internally
Every connector was unique in design and layout. 
Here is the finished re-arrangement with the new ground bus wires coming out the side. I may still add grounding posts to the back of the panels…

Got my school book list. Does anyone know a good place to buy text books online? I would prefer both a paper and PDF version (to save my back)
There has been talks of 12 channel consoles being made so designs are moving from paper to cad… I’ve been dreaming up a new design of side panel that can lay flay or be stood upright using a support. The idea is to put them on an island in either upright or flat positions. The faders would be flat in the mix position, and angled in the upright position. The back interconnect would be all edacs.
The demands only grow as the systems do.
Red – XLRF – TRS
Blue – XLRM – TRS
Green – ground lift
Yellow – polarity inverter
Violet – XLRM – XLRM
Black Expando – XLRF – XLRF
Orange – XLR to TS

I was 19 years old and moved into the 3rd floor of 115 2nd Ave North Saskatoon. It was RIGHT downtown saskatoon. It had a conference room in it that had the most amazing sounding vault. It was about 560 sq feet. They build me a room inside of a room.

After much deliberation I’ve decided to go back to school and study Electronics Engineering Technologies fulltime. My school of choice has accepted my application and a start has been set for January. The next few months are going to be a little crazy…
